The silver jubilee of the International festival of Arts was celebrated in Pakistan, hosted at Lahore from November 13th to 23rd 2008. 

Many countries had participated & the festival showcased artists from various countries presenting music, dance, puppetry, theatre & films. 

Purva School of Bharatanatyam represented Classical Indian dance forms. It was indeed a hugh gathering & there were exchanges of creative ideas in true sense - 3rd visit by Purva School [2005, 2006 & 2008]. 
  
Purva School of Bharatanatyam's 7 member team of artists performed for 3 days in Lahore under the guidance & choreography of Guru Shri Sharad Pandya. Manasi Pandya had been invited to present Odissi solo presentations for 2 days of the 10 day festival. 
  
Odissi & Bharatanatyam workshops were also conducted & the young boys & girls of Pakistan took part in the workshops.
