A professional artist, working in
the eco friendly medium of Nihonga – a Japanese technique of painting with
rock mineral pigments, which Madhu studied & researched in Tokyo.
These pigments are derived from natural minerals, oyster shells, corals,
semi-precious stones, gold and silver. Layered upon by brush, using
glue and water on handmade paper, the richness of the painting emerges
with a natural matt finish, unique texture and brilliance of mineral pigments.
