Rashid Khan kindles memories of his guru Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan with the bandish "Jhanana Jhanana Jhanana Baaje Bichhua" - a composition of Ustad Enayet Hussain Khan, the doyen of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana - in raag Chhayanat. he weaves his magic in raag Desh where he sings another bandish "Karam Kara Dije" composed by ustad Sabir Hussain Khan, the eldest son of Ustad Enayet Hussain Khan. The taraana that follows bears the indelible stamp of this young torch bearer of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana. |
