All India radio has
always provided information and entertainment to its listeners. In
the process it has broadcast the very best in Indian drama. With
its vast network, AIR has not only brought drama to the door-steps of common
man but has also preserved Indian Drama.
All India Radio archives has a huge repertoire of Indian Drama in all its variety and richness - of yester years and contemporary. All India Radio has now decided to release on discs/cassettes selected recordings form its archives. The objective of this venture is widest possible dissemination of various aspects of Indian culture amongst the people.
