In this CD, Panditji sings two ragas which are both jod-ragas (combination of two ragas), a speciality of the jaipur gayaki.  Both the ragas are relatively rare and were particular favourites of the masters of the Jaipur Gharana.

"Basanti Kedar" is a late night raga which is a combination of the ragas Bsant & Kedar, where one gets to savour the fervency of both the ragas as well as the flavour of the unique compound raga.  The bandish 'Atar Sugandh', a very well known bandish of this raga, is set to madhyalaya teental.

The late night raga - "Kafi Kanada" is a combination of ragas Kafi & Kanada and the flavour of both the ragas mixes perfectly throughout.  The vilambit "More Ghar Aye" and the drut "Sawaria tore bine" are both set to teental and are compositions of Pandit Gajananbua Joshi.
