Programme
The Festival programme featured the following parts:

Youth Theatre Festival featuring performances by and/or for children. (9 to 10.30 P.M. every night)
Special performances (10.30 to 12 P.M. every night) featuring plays not related to the Mahabharata.
Mahabharata performances (after 12 P.M.) Live theatre, dance & puppetry from Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh featuring selected episodes from the Mahabharata. The five nights of the festival presented a visual journey of the epic that began with the marriage of Draupadi and ended with the final battle between Bhima and Duryodhana on the eighteenth day of the war.
Off-stage performances (after 6 A.M.) Some performances were concluded by spectacular 'off-stage' scenes in the early morning.
