This German breed is a powerful dog full of power, agility and elegance.  He has a proud carraige and a bold, alert temperament. His head is long, clean-cut, well filled under the eyes, a flat skull and an accenuated stop.  The Dobermann is an unsurpassed watchdog and very loyal to his family.  His coat is smooth, short, hard, thick and close lying.  Colours allowed are definite black, brwon or blue with rust red markings.
