400 - wicket club
Courtney Walsh of West Indies achieved the distinction of becoming the third bowler in the history of Test cricket to take 400 wickets when he trapped Ian Healy leg before wicket in the first Test against Australia in Port of Spain on March 6th, 1999. Kapil Dev (434) and Rcihard Hadlee (431) are the other bowlers to capture more than 400 wickets.
Two hat tricks in Tests
Pakistan's captain Wasim Akram became the third bowler in the world
to achieve two hat tricks in Tests after H.Trumble of Australia in 1901-02
and in 1903-04 and T.J.Mathews, also of Australia in 1912. However
Akram achieved this feat in two successive Tests against Sri Lanka on March
14, 1999 at Lahore and then in Dhaka, while Mathews achieved this feat
in the same Test.
