Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu is a Union Territory in western
India. Formed on January 26, 2020, by merging two formerly separate UTs,
it consists of four distinct noncontiguous districts - Dadra, Nagar
Haveli, Daman, and the island of Diu - and is administered directly by
the central Indian government.
Dadra and Nagar Haveli are land-based enclaves positioned between
Gujarat and Maharashtra, while Daman is on the southern coast of Gujarat
and Diu is an island off the southern coast of Gujarat's Kathiawar
Peninsula. The administrative capital of the Union Territory is the city
of Daman.

There are 2 wildlife sanctuaries in the territory - Dadra and Nagar Haveli wildlife sanctuary and Fudam bird sanctuary.
